Oil Control Face Moisturizer

If you experience sensitivity in your skin and has oily or acne prone skin but want the benefits of Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid, Salicylic Acid ; we have used the plant derived alternatives such as Bakuchiol, Tremella, Willow Bark Extracts in our “Oil Control Moisturizer” as an effectively good substitute.

Bakuchiol can be less irritating to the skin so are suitable for all skin types and can be preferable for those with sensitive skin.

Please note: It is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding because of its natural formulation.
It also doesn’t cause sun sensitivity and can therefore be used in the AM and PM (we always recommend using an SPF in the AM of your routine anyway to protect the skin from UVA/UVB damage which can compromise the skin barrier).

Tremella is 100% natural, plant-based alternative to Hyaluronic Acid that helps reduce fine lines and acts as a barrier to protect the skin from free radical damage. The natural extract of Tremella has been shown to easily penetrate the skin’s layers, forming a protective film of moisture that transforms the look and feel of dryness and roughness. It is also rich in Vitamin D, which helps soothe skin inflammations such as those associated with acne. . It also offers benefits and functionalities that include improved emollience, enhanced viscosity, non-irritating properties, exceptional sensory characteristics, clarity, and anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.

Willow Bark is a plant based alternative to Salicylic Acid which reduce the production of oil in the skin. It also helps exfoliate any oil deposits or dirt from the pore gently, without causing any irritation. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of willow bark help control common oily skin issues like acne and pimples.
Since it is antibacterial, it can alleviate any existing pimples and make the skin look even and clear.

Note: It can be used as part of the daytime and nighttime skin routine. Using it as part of the daytime skincare routine helps remove any dead skin cells to leave one feeling fresh and rejuvenated. As a nighttime product, it can remove makeup, dirt or any other deposits in the skin pores effectively, leaving the skin cleansed and free from toxins.

Aloe vera is another great natural ingredient that we used for fighting acne. This plant has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can help to reduce the size of pimples and soothe the skin

The addition of mānuka essential oil to this moisturizer is attributed to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
Another essential oil that we used is blue tansy , it’s properties have been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antihistamine, and skin-calming effects.
